Hi, I’m Inês, a.k.a Nocas! Welcome to my blog, I’m so excited to have you here!
After more than a decade of yo-yo diets, sugar addictions and digestive issues, I finally decided to put a full stop to it and take ownership of my own life and happiness.
How I got here
When I finally decided that I wanted to be in control of my own life, instead of food controlling me, I started learning the science behind the food we eat and how it affects our body. I quickly realised that what I was doing not only wouldn’t bring the results I wanted, but it would also lead to a shorter life.
I have since fixed my constant bloating, constipation and craving issues by changing how I eat and my lifestyle. It was a huge eye-opener, which empowered me to study further about how our body works.
And now I want to share my learnings with you so that I can hopefully help you get a step closer to a happier and healthier self as well 🙂
What you can expect
Throughout this blog, I will be sharing with you all my learnings about the impact of food on our bodies, especially as I go through the CNM Nutrition for Everyday Living course.
I will be sharing recipes that I make that make me feel great, with minimally processed ingredients and no refined sugars, along with my favourite products, restaurants and much more!
If you could make one change right now…
My biggest recommendation is to stop thinking about removing your favourite foods from your diet, and instead, think about how you can make them more nutritious! Sneak in some veggies, swap your white bread for sourdough, always pair your carbs with healthy fats and proteins, etc.!
